Dr. Zhang Xu - Global Access Interview

Dr. Zhang Xu was a former orthopedic surgeon in Beijing, China, prior to a diving accident in 1997 that left him with a broken neck and quadriplegia. While at the Beijing Rehabilitation Center following his injury, he received a copy of the Joni book, through which he became a Christ-follower and began developing a heart for ministering to others with disabilities. After a 3-month training at Joni and Friends and getting a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, Dr. Xu returned to China and began the Bethesda Rehabilitation Ministry of Anshan, China.
